Monday, July 13, 2020 UPDATE

Hello!

We have some exciting changes since our last update! Since May 26th, we have been operating with all of our normal payment methods. We are currently shipping most packages in 1-4 business days but are still shipping priority and express packages quicker. We have been increasing our inventory. We anticipate rolling out more shipping carrier options in the next month. Finally, Canadian orders can now be placed through our website!

Friday, May 22, 2020 UPDATE

We are open, processing orders and shipping however, due to our limited staff and a substantial increase in demand we have decided to only accept Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cash/Money order payments thru May 25, 2020. ALL customers using either of these payment methods this weekend will receive an automatic 20% OFF your total order at checkout.

We are back! We are working hard to maintain quicker shipping times and keep our prices low. As a result of COVID-19 precautions, procedures and an influx in orders, we will be temporarily operating with limited inventory. Wednesday, April 29, 2020 UPDATE

We are temporarily closed to new orders until May 1, 2020. We WILL be continuing to ship all existing orders during these two days. As mentioned in our notes below, we are short-staffed due to the COVID-19 stay-at-home order.  We have had a very high demand for spores syringes in recent weeks. During these next 2-days of closure, we will be shipping all existing orders as well as producing and testing new spore syringes in our lab. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Monday, April 20, 2020 UPDATE

We are currently taking longer to ship orders due to our Covid-19 precautions mentioned below. We are currently shipping orders 3-5 days after payment being received rather than our normal 24-48 hours. You will receive a USPS tracking number when the shipping label is created.

USPS also posted a warning on their website about their delays on shipment. You may read more about that here. According to their update, 1 day shipping has not changed and 2-3 day priority shipping is more like 3-5 days.

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 UPDATE

Good News:

We have discussed our situation (as noted below in our March 21st post) with one our residential USPS postal workers in Illinois, she is willing to pick up from one of our homes daily so we will also be shipping some orders from Illinois (She’s awesome!). Our shipper in Wyoming is also shipping from her home daily. We will not have a full staff, but there will be two of us shipping for these next few weeks instead of only one person (noted below). 🙂

We will upgrade anyone who spends $125 total to 2-day priority shipping (customers pay $6.99 for standard shipping – choose that option on the checkout page) and include a free syringe automatically with your order. 

Semi-Bad News:  

We will be changing our “in stock” items daily (or often) to limit the number of different varieties/strains available as we get through these next few weeks and ship from home. Since there will only be 2 of us shipping orders these next few weeks, it’s much easier for us to prepare orders for shipment if there are only a few strains we need to box up and produce.  We will be able to get through many more shipments this way.

Also, we will try to keep up with shipments but we may get behind with shipments and your order may not ship within 24 hours. As always, we will prioritize and ship orders who pay for priority and express shipping first and all other orders will ship in the order in which payments are received. Don’t worry though, all orders WILL ship.  🙂

If you happen to pay via US mail, we will be processing mail-in payments 2 or 3 days per week (instead of everyday).

As many of you know, we are headquartered in Illinois and Illinois has established a stay-at-home order in light of the COVID-19 virus. 🙁

This stay-at-home order begins today, Saturday, March 21 and it will end on April 7th. Therefore we cannot ship orders from our main location in Illinois after today. However, we will still be accepting orders and shipping your orders from our shipping office in Wyoming daily. These orders will be shipped in a timely matter like normal (within 24-48 hours after your order is placed).

We have stocked our Wyoming office with a ton of spore syringes but we have limited the varieties/strains in stock to:

Q: What payment methods do you accept? 

There are multiple payment options to choose from at checkout.

We accept most major credit/debit cards, payments via Zelle, cryptocurrency (Bitcoin and Ethereum) and cash/money orders mail-in payments.

Cash/Money order mail-in payment SPECIAL.

Buy TWO or more of our  varieties and receive a free syringe with cash or money order mail-in payments. The free syringe is included post payment therefore is not on the invoice until payment is received. If you have a specific request for what you would like the free syringe to be then please include a note in the mail. It is not a guarantee that you will receive the variety that you have requested.

Q: What method do you ship and how discreet is the packaging?

We ship all packages USPS in the United States. Packaging is extremely discreet and items are secure with no indication of the contents. Below are photos of our standard shipping and priority shipping boxes and our discreet return address (box size may vary slightly depending on size of your order). All boxes can easily fit in your mailbox. 

 

Q: Can I pay extra for faster shipment?

Yes, it costs $19.99 for Expedited Service + PRIORITY mail shipping (2-3 day to arrive to your mailbox including tracking from the time you place your order).

Yes, it costs $49.99 for Expedited Service + EXPRESS mail (1-2 day including tracking)

We generally ship all orders out within 24 hours of receiving payment unless the items you have ordered are on back-order. We generally ship orders Monday through Saturday. We ship our spores out of our headquarters in Illinois and our shipping office in Wyoming, depending on your geographic location, so we can get your order to you faster.

(At certain times during the year our lead time may be slightly longer, however this information is communicated immediately after purchase.)

Typical transit times have been 5-7 business days for standard shipping.

Priority shipping is 2-3 days.

EXPRESS shipping is 1-2 days.

Q: What exactly do you sell here?

We provide laboratory grade mushroom spores and laboratory equipment. Our spores are in surgically sterile 10cc syringes. You will be hard pressed to find a better product in the current online marketplace. Our syringes are the MOST VIABLE on the market. We take GREAT PRIDE in providing OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE in addition to overseeing the highest graded quality of mushroom spores available online.

Q: Do you offer advice on growing or grow kits?

Unfortunately we cannot give growing advice or provide grow kits, any such questions might be better suited for people who specialize in those sorts of things. We have heard that the seasoned professionals at Midwest Grow Kits have practically re-defined “at home” Mycology when it extends past standard research.

Q: Are these “prints”?

No. These are surgically sterile 10cc syringes containing actual mushroom spores.

Q: How much specimen do I need for research?

Generally researchers will choose to use 1cc of specimen per research media (slide), which allows for 10 slides per research session. IF you have 10 + slides you would need 2 syringes.

Georgia, or Idaho: We are unable to ship research strains to you. We apologize. Contact your local representative and request to have it added to the ballot!

Q: Will you ship spores internationally?

Only to Canada.  No other countries. 

Q: My order status says “processing”,  has my item shipped?

All orders will read “processing” until the item ships. At which point you will receive a completion email stating the item has shipped.

Q: I’m not ready to research with my spore syringes yet, how do I store them?

It’s recommended that you store any unused syringe in the original mail packaging, in a dark, non-directly-heated location. Not too hot, not too cool is ideal.

Q: How long can I store the spore syringes for?

We recommend researching as soon as possible, however these will maintain viability past 9 months. In some cases even longer.

Q: How secure is my privacy if I order?

EXTREMELY SECURE AND PRIVATE. All records of any orders are destroyed after a short period of time; this enables us to provide customer service to our researchers. We keep no records of your order past this point and NEVER possess any of the credit card information used during purchase. We do not collect, resell, or divulge any personal information, including: Name, Address, Phone numbers, email addresses or items ordered, to any business or individuals, ANYWHERE. We also take all orders through a 128-bit encrypted secure server denoted by the yellow padlock on the bottom right side of your screen.

Q: Do I pay tax?

Only residents of Illinois will be charged the most current effective tax rate as determined by the state upon check-out (inclusive of state and county taxes).

Q: How do I place an order?

Using the buttons found on the item pages simply add the desired items to your shopping cart. When you are ready to purchase your products, click the “Checkout” or “View Cart” buttons. Review your listed order and click the button labeled “CHECKOUT” on the shopping cart page. Select the payment method of your choice, enter your credit card information if you choose that payment method, and hit “place order”. 

The very simple instructions for payments via Zelle, payments via BTC/ETH or payments via cash/money order are on the page displayed after hitting “place order” and in the confirmation email you will receive within minutes of hitting “place order”.

      We treat PRE-PAID CARDS the same as regular cards.

      Simply click on the credit card icon, and enter the number.

      When it comes to our Exotic and Premium spores, due to legal issues we cannot answer that question. In nature the spores are HIGHLY viable, but we find that analysis under a microscope is equally as INCREDIBLE.

      Our edibles are WONDERFUL, everything grows very well.

I have some difficulties in the ”country” section of both billing and shipping details because i can’t select ”canada”.. it says automatically United States. Because of that, i can’t either enter the right thing in the ”states” section. Is this normal ?

      Thanks for the question – all items ship out the day after the order is placed. 2-3 day shipping means you’d receive your order 3-4 days after the order is placed.

      We recommend storing the specimen in a normal temp’d fridge, in the box they came in. They can live happily in these conditions for upwards of 9 mos.

    Your website says triple concentrated. Is that accurate for all strains? How exactly do you accomplish such a thing? Use 3 times as many spores per cc of fluid or something?
