About our Golden Teacher Spores:
Cultivation Difficulty: Easy/Beginning Researchers

First appearing in the 1980s, the Golden Teacher cubensis mushroom is highly sought mushroom strain by researchers due to being relatively easy to maintain. The exact origin of the Golden Teacher strain is not known, though it is believed to be discovered on a farm in Georgia. In nature, the first flush of golden teacher mushrooms will produce medium-sized mushrooms and in later flushes, the mushroom caps and stems might grow very large. In fact, compared to many of the other cubensis mushroom varieties, the Golden Teachers are amongst the largest. These mushrooms have gills that vary from whitish to purple-brown.
