PES Amazonian spores, sometimes referred to as PESA, originate from a Psilocybe cubensis variety first collected and distributed by Pacifica Exotic Spora (PES) for microscopy and taxonomic research. The original specimens are believed to have been sourced from the Colombian Amazon rainforest, a region known for its exceptional fungal diversity.

In addition to PES Amazonian, Pacifica Exotic Spora (PES) is also recognized for pioneering other well-known cubensis varieties, including PES Hawaiian, further establishing its influence in early spore research and distribution.

This Amazonian cubensis variety is known for its vigorous growth traits, fast colonization, and prolific spore production in dung-rich and nutrient-enhanced environments. PES Amazonian mushroom spores display a deep purplish-brown to nearly black coloration and are valued for producing dense, dark spore prints with strong contrast for microscopic examination.
